Fabienne Jouty is a PhD candidate in contemporary history at Sorbonne University, Paris, and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), under the supervision of Prof. Laurent Warlouzet and Christophe Bonneuil. Her dissertation project focuses on European climate policies and economic instruments from 1979 to 1997, and is part of the Franco-German ANR-DFG ELEMENT project “A European Leap? The History of EC/EU Environmental Policy, 1980–2000.” She is currently completing a one-year fellowship as a visiting researcher at LMU Munich, Project House Europe, and the Rachel Carson Center, which is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
