Elena Zanet is a PhD student in ecologia dei sistemi culturali e istituzionali (ECSIST) at the University of Piemonte Orientale. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Palermo and an MA in linguistics from the University of Bologna, where she developed an interest in corpus linguistics. In her doctoral project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP; NextGenerationEU), Elena explores climate change narratives in Italian media, with a focus on the competing discourses of activists, enterprises, and newspapers. Her research interests also include critical discourse analysis and morphology.
