Ainslie Murray is an interdisciplinary artist, Powerhouse Associate, and associate professor in architecture at UNSW Sydney, Australia. Her research centers on forms of space-making that often escape attention, including ephemeral, minimal, immaterial, and unlikely forms of architecture. Her creative works explore the formation and inhabitation of architectural space through long-distance walking practice in volatile environments, with specific attention to climate, mobility, and landscape. Her internationally acclaimed installation, film, and environmental works have been exhibited in Australia, Canada, China, Denmark, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, and the UK.
