Pauline obtained her BA in English studies and cultural studies from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU) and the University of Birmingham, UK. Since October 2020, she has been enrolled in the Environmental Studies Certificate Program at the RCC. In September 2022, she completed her MA in English studies at LMU; her thesis is titled “Poverty, Madness, and the Nonhuman: Contemporary Literary Imaginaries of Precarity.” Her research has focused on human-nonhuman relationships, political economy, literature as propaganda, and precarity in twentieth- and twenty-first-century fiction. 

Pauline joined the RCC in May 2021.
