Haley Snyder is an ELES Research Fellow currently engaged in PhD research on ancestral homeland or “roots” re-migration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU). She received an MA in cultural history from LMU’s Amerika-Institut and a BA in English language and literature from Emory University, Atlanta, USA. Haley enjoys telling stories across disciplines and is fascinated by the diversity of the human experience. She has previously worked as a curator at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and as a brand and product strategist.
Haley joined the Rachel Carson Center in February 2025.
