Claudia Reusch studied geography at Technical University of Munich (TUM) where she graduated in 1992 and gained her PhD in 1997. She worked in the field of scientific marketing until 2000, when she became Head of Research at an international consulting company. In 2005 she founded her own company and relocated to the USA after obtaining her MBA degree. She joined the Rachel Carson Center in August 2009.
