Geoffrey Craig is a professor in the School of Communication Studies at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in Aotearoa New Zealand. He was head of research in the School of Communication Studies from 2015 to 2018. Geoff previously taught at the University of Kent, UK, in the Center for Journalism. Geoff conducts research in the areas of environmental communication and political communication. He has a forthcoming book, Media, Sustainability and Everyday Life, to be published by Palgrave MacMillan. He is the author of Performing Politics: Media Interviews, Debates and Press Conferences (Polity 2016) and The Media, Politics, and Public Life (Allen & Unwin 2004), and the coauthor (with Wendy Parkins) of Slow Living (Berg 2006). Geoff is an editorial advisory board member of the journal, Environmental Communication and also an editorial board member of the Journal of Communication.
