Aneurin Merrill-Glover is an early modernist, currently in his third-year of an environmental history PhD at the University of Manchester, which takes place in partnership with the Lancashire Wildlife Trust. His thesis, “Mosslands in Early Modern Lancashire 1500–1800,” deals with the unique and neglected wetland landscapes of the northwest of England. He is interested in wetland landscapes and the problems that they pose to our understandings of land and water.
