On 15 April, 15:00–16:00, we will celebrate our five-year reading group anniversary with a special about Rachel Carson. We will discuss with former RCC fellow Jenny Price about her recent Springs archive addition “Stop Saving the Planet!—and Other Tips via Rachel Carson for Twenty-First-Century” (originally published in RCC Perspectives in 2012). Join us for a critical review of the idol of American environmentalism, and find out why Rachel Carson's concept of nature might be problematic today.
