This week, Prof Jörg Ewald, botanist and vegetation scientist at Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, will give insights into the joint project BAYSICS (Bavarian Synthesis Information Citizen Science Portal for Climate Research and Science Communication), in particular subproject 6, which investigates tree line shifts in Bavaria due to climate change. The project collects data on rising tree lines with the help of citizen science.
