29.11.2022 16:30  – 17:45

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Conference Room (4th floor), Leopoldstr. 11a, 80802 Munich, Germany

This Tuesday, Dr. Christian Schulz, Managing Director of the German Alliance for Climate Change and Health (KLUG) will discuss the work of KLUG. Christian Schulz holds a post-doctoral degree in anesthesiology from the Technical University of Munich. Currently, he is taking a break from his clinical work to promote the topic of climate change and health. The topic has interested him for a long time: at one of Munich's Hospitals (Klinikum rechts der Isar), Dr. Schulz is heading a working group on climate change, with the aim of reducing the ecological footprint of medicine. He is also focusing on divestment. He and his team have been researching the extent to which healthcare pension funds continue to invest in fossil fuels.

The Tuesday Discussions are free and open to the public. This Tuesday Discussion is hosted in cooperation with the Munich Science Communication Lab (MSCL).
