Tuesday Discussion with Annette Menzel (Ecoclimatology—TUM)

This week's Tuesday Discussion will be with Prof. Dr. Annette Menzel, chair of Ecoclimatology at Technical University Munich (TUM). Annette Menzel will introduce the final report of an expert commission that deals with the future of water supply in Bavaria. The independent scientific committee was established to propose technical solutions to long-distance water supplies as well as measures for climate-resilient settlement structures in Bavaria, for example through the use of soil as a water reservoir.
Annette Menzel was one of the authors of the fourth assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
