Tuesday Discussion with River Biodiversity Union (RBU)

05.06.2018 16:15  – 17:15

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11a, 4th Floor, Room 415 (conference room)

This week, the River Biodiversity Union (RBU) of Munich will be visiting the RCC. Its a speculative design project that takes serious the idea not to plan and design for but with the river animals. Beavers are seen as experts for river biodiversity in Munich. But how is design based on democratic principles possible if human language is no basis of communication? The Project is the result of a Mastercourse in Architecture taught by urban/environmental anthropologists from the Munich Center for Technology in Society (MCTS). The project will be presented by Pedro Racha-Pacheco, Laura Krohn, Victoria Schulz, Marie Van Tricht and Katharina Meenenga.
