Location: Rachel Carson Center, fourth floor, Conference Room, Leopoldstr. 11a, 80802 Munich, Germany
Moderator: Susanne Unger
This Tuesday, Nikita Kern, a student of veterinary medicine at LMU Munich, will join us for the Tuesday Discussion with a talk on “Primate Conservation: The Work of the Limbe Wildlife Centre in a Global Context.” A former primate keeper at Munich Zoo and external adviser of the Jane Goodall Institut Deutschland, Kern will introduce the work of the Limbe Wildlife Centre in Cameroon. Focusing on the critically endangered ape species, the discussion will revolve around several ways in which every person can contribute to saving our closest living relatives from the verge of extinction, how the One Health approach helps solve the issue, and why there is still reason for hope.
The Tuesday Discussions are free and open to the public.
