This workshop offered young scholars of environmental history the opportunity to present their dissertation work to their peers and to distinguished scholars. The workshop, which was organized by the Rachel Carson Center and the interdisciplinary research group, KlimaKultur of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Essen, hoped to bring together different strands of German research on environmental history.
