Tuesday Discussion with Işıl Eğrikavuk (Global Dis:Connect)

This Tuesday, Işıl Eğrikavuk (Global Dis:Connect), an international performance artist and academic, will join us for the Tuesday Discussion with a talk on “The Other Garden: An Artistic Research Space on Ecology, Inclusivity, and Care in Academia.”

In this talk, Eğrikavuk will speak about the project she has been running with her students at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2021. Entitled “the other garden,” it is both their classroom and a community space on art, ecology, inclusivity, and care work. 

Eğrikavuk has recently published a book, Global Protests Through Art – Collaboration, Co-Creation, Interconnectedness, available through Books People Places.
