Tuesday Discussion with Oliver Liebig (Consulting Renewable Energies)

This Tuesday, Dr. Oliver Liebig (Consulting Renewable Energies) will talk about his work in the renewable energy sector. He advises companies, energy suppliers, and municipal utilities on the transformation of the energy industry. Previously, he was a project manager for investment projects in the wind energy sector and solar tenant electricity, and set up the metrology / measurement data management division of a real estate company.

Oliver also publishes on human–environment relations, renewable energies, and infrastructures and is an editor of the publication series UmweltEthnologie [Environment(al)Ethnology] (publisher: transcript). He received his PhD from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU) with a study on Indigenous perspectives on renewable energy in Mexico, was a research assistant at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at LMU, and a member of the RCC’s doctoral program Environment and Society.
