Tuesday Discussion with Liang Emlyn Yang (LMU, Geography)

This week, geographer Dr. Liang Emlyn Yang (department of geography of LMU), will join us for the Tuesday Discussion. His work focuses on long-term climate adaptation and resilience and he is the principal investigator of ERC Starting Grant: STORIES - Spatial-Temporal Dynamics of Flood Resilience. In the Tuesday Discussion, Dr. Yang will introduce his work on urbanization, flood risks, and resilience in Southeast Asia and China and ask how people can cope with natural hazards in regions that are repeatedly hit by floods and landslides.
