A farm that has become a shelter: With their project Hof Butenland, former dairy farmer Jan Gerdes and animal rights activist Karin Mück have created a place where farm animals no longer exist - a peaceful coexistence that seems almost utopian. The intimate portrait captures moments of happiness and sadness, questions the current status of farm animals in our society and leaves everyone touched.

A discussion with Anna Ritzinger (Vegan.Bullerbyn e.V.) will follow the screening.

The original version of the film will be shown with English subtitles. The discussion will be held in German.

Free and open to the public.
