In cooperation with Dokfest München, the Rachel Carson Center invites to the screening of The Visitors and the following discussion of the documentary (in English).

A paradise of ice and snow. Ever since Zdenka, a young anthropologist, moved to Svalbard, she has been fascinated by the wild beauty of the Arctic landscape. Like Zdenka, people from 52 nations have taken up residence in the small settlement of Longyearbyen. But the fragile equilibrium of the international community is under threat.
