Policy Labs to Improve the Integration of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Agricultural Management

This workshop is aimed at PhD students who are interested in learning about Living Labs, a research methodology based on a participatory bottom-up approach to improve social innovation and policy development.
Once the methodology is introduced, there will be a presentation of the main results of an exemplary case study carried out within the region of Madrid, Spain. This case study highlights how novel contract-based approaches have been improved to incentivize farmers to increase their provision of agri-environmental public goods.
