14.06.2022 16:15  – 17:15

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Conference Room (4th floor), Leopoldstr. 11a, 80802 Munich, Germany

This week’s Tuesday Discussion is with the project leaders of VerbaAlpina, Prof. Dr. Thomas Krefeld (Romance studies, LMU) and Dr. Stephan Lücke (Humanities IT Group, LMU). Thomas Krefeld and Stephan Lücke will give insights into the transnational Alpine project VerbaAlpina. The project investigates aspects of historico-cultural and historical-linguistic unity in the linguistically highly fragmented Alpine region. Along these lines, the thematic areas of the project are nonhuman nature, cultural history, and present-day culture. The discussion will highlight the current status of this long-term research project based at LMU and funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).

The Tuesday Discussions are free and open to the public.

As of 7 April 2022, the following rule is mandatory during your visit to the RCC:
