This week, Jona Christians, CEO of SONO Motors gives us insights into the Munich-based solar car company that aims to revolutionize the automobile industry. Founded in 2016, the company's announcement of a low-cost electric car that could recharge itself via solar cells built into the body caused international euphoria. Now, five years later, the SION has hit the road and SONO Motors is planning to go public. Jona will introduce us to the company and how it came about that three young students moved from a backyard workshop to the big stage of the (sustainable) car industry.
