Call yourself a Feminist?: Gender, Allyship and Environmental History

Online seminar organized by the ESEH diversity committee

20.05.2021 21:00  – 23:00

Location: Online

In this second seminar organized by the ESEH diversity committee, we will examine the challenges that continue to impede women in the field of environmental history. Building on the history of feminist activism that sought to break down the barriers of conformity and exclusion based on gender, speakers and participants will explore how the ESEH can work to combat sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and other forms of discrimination in the workplace, the discipline, and the wider community. This seminar will be an open platform to discuss and learn how women-identified colleagues can work in an environment of inclusion and diversity without fear of stigma and discrimination.
