Tuesday Discussion with Elspeth Oppermann (Cool Infrastructures)

10.11.2020 16:15  – 17:15

This week, Dr. Elspeth Oppermann, a human geographer in the ''Cool Infrastructures'' project who has led a number of projects on occupational heat stress in Australia will introduce us to her work on everyday life and work in extremely hot and humid environments. Her particular interest is in understanding how thermal physiology – the way our bodies experience and manage heat - shapes social practices, including workplace culture and family relationships.

Tuesday Discussion will be virtual. To join the zoom discussion, please register in advance via this link.
