Tuesday Discussion with Felix Ekardt (University of Rostock)

This week lawyer, ethicist and sociologist Felix Ekardt will introduce us to his work at the intersection of research on transformation, governance, ethics and law of sustainability as well as climate lawsuits and activity in NGOs such as Friends of the Earth. As head of Friends of the Earth Saxony (BUND Sachsen), founder of the Research Unit Sustainability and Climate Policy, and a Professor in Rostock, he is well acquainted with the challenges and hurdles to sustainable solutions on many levels. Felix Ekardt will talk about why transformation towards a sustainable society is so difficult and yet possible.
