Tuesday Discussion with Frank Schweikert (German Marine Foundation)

04.02.2020 16:15  – 17:15

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11a, 4th Floor, Room 415 (conference room)

This week, Frank Schweikert—journalist, founder of the German Marine Foundation and one of Germany's leading environmental activists—will give us insights into his work as environmental communicator. His goal is to raise awareness of the impact of climate change and plastic waste on the marine ecosystem. For this, he often goes on board the research vessel "Aldebaran" to work with broadcasters on documentaries about the world above and below sea level. We will also learn what his work has to do with Albert II, Prince of Monaco.

Tea and cake will be served.
