Tuesday Discussion with Tharaka Sriram (Whale and Dolphin Conservation)

Tharaka Sriram is campaigner at the Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), which is campaigning worldwide to end whale and dolphin fishing and to inform people about the essential role of whales as climate protectors. As a linguist and political scientist, she has lived on six of the seven continents and has worked on marine conservation, diversity and youth issues. In 2015, Tharaka launched the Ocean Education Initiative that aims to create a global network of strictly protected marine areas.
