Tuesday Discussion with Juliane Kahl (Responsive Fashion Institute)

26.11.2019 16:15  – 17:15

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11a, 4th Floor, Room 415 (conference room)

This week, Juliane Kahl, founder of the Responsive Fashion Institute, will join us for a discussion. Kahl, a lecturer at Munich’s Academy of Fashion and Design, started out as a set and costume designer. Her research and engagement focuses on disruptive design, and on digitalization and democratization processes in manufacturing fashion. She has also been a staunch advocate of sustainability and equal rights in the global fashion industry. In 2015 Kahl organized the first Fashion Hackathon in East Africa that won her a Procter & Gamble 'Better Lifes’ Award.

The discussion will take place in the 4th floor conference room.

Tea and cake will be served. All are welcome.
