Tuesday Discussion with Tobias Hipp (German Alpine Society)

This week, geographer Dr. Tobias Hipp of the Board of the Deutscher Alpenverein (DAV, German Alpine Society) will join us. An expert on climate change and permafrost, a passionate mountain-climber, ski-tourer, and freerider, Hipp is in charge of the DAV's division of nature protection and cartography. In his work, he firmly rejects resource-intensive ski tourism.
