This week, Professor Alan Mikhail of Yale University, the world's leading expert on the environmental history of the Middle East and Northern Africa, will join us for a discussion of his current and future research projects. Mikhail has published books on animals and environments in Ottoman Egyt and on the history of water in the Middle East and North Africa.
