Writing for a Public Audience
Workshop
25.11.2019 13:00 – 14:30
Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11a, 4th Floor, Room 415 (conference room)
Often—too often, perhaps—we publish articles and books that hardly anyone except our colleagues and their students (and maybe our mothers) read. Mark Stoll will host a mini-workshop on writing for a general audience, in which he will share his thoughts on how to produce work that can cross over between an academic and an educated public audience. Everyone is invited to attend, and to join in an informal discussion of the successful crossover history books that you admire and regard as a potential model for your own work.
