Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h.c. Wolfgang Haber will share memories and experiences regarding his work as a biologist and as one of the "fathers of landscape ecology" in Germany.
Haber was awarded 5 national awards and prizes, including the German Environment Prize (1993), the highest German award for lifetime achievements in environmental sciences, the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany first class (1986), the Bavarian Order of Merit (1973), and the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art.
The event is hosted by the Rachel Carson Center Alumni Association e.V. It is free and open to anyone with an interest in environmental issues. Refreshments will be served.
