Tuesday Discussion with Green City e.V. (Munich) on Creating a People-Friendly and Green Munich

02.02.2016 12:15  – 13:15

Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11a, 4th Floor, Room 415 (conference room)

Members of Munich's Green City Project Agency (incl. Sebastian Huber, the agency's press officer) and of Munich's Green City Association (a not-for-profit membership association) will introduce and discuss their work. Green City Munich was founded by a handful of dedicated citizens in 1990 with the goal of creating a people-friendly and green Munich. The focus of Green City Munich ("Cycling through Life," "Travelling Trees") is on alternative forms of transportation, sustainable city planning, conscientious energy use and cultural activities (such as Munich's Streetlife festivals). Today the organization is one of the most active organizations of its kind worldwide.
