Prof. Dr. Jacob Hamblin Gives a Lecture on Radioactive Waste in the Oceans

Lecture at the Deutsches Museum

As part of the RCC's "Waste in Environment and Society" collaboration, Prof. Dr. Jacob Darwin Hamblin, an associate professor of history at Oregon State University, is giving a lecture entitled "Poison in the Well: Radioactive Waste in the Oceans at the Dawn of the Nuclear Age" on 23 June 2014 at 16:30 at the Deutsches Museum (Seminarraum der Institute 1402, Bibliotheksbau). It will be conducted in English. All interested guests are welcome to attend the lecture and a brief networking session with the speaker over coffee and snacks at 16:00.

This lecture is organized by das Münchner Zentrum für Wissenschafts- und Technikgeschichte (MZWTG) and is part of a series of Monday colloquiums at the Deutsches Museum. Entrance is free and open to the public.
