Daisy Onyige (University of Port Hartcourt, Nigeria) will discuss the dire consequences of climate change on the livelihood of the rural people of the Niger Delta region in Nigeria, and how gender inequality makes women and girls more vulnerable to the effects of climate change.

The Lunchtime Colloquium is free and open to the public.
