"Vulnerable, Volatile" not only displays the magnificance of volcanoes, but also explores the impact of eruptions on local communities.
Richard Roscoe's vivid images juxtapose natural phenomena with cultural acts of remembrance and neglect, illustrating the social perceptions and ecological realities of hazardous human settlements.
Richard Roscoe is one of a handful of amateur photographers worldwide who specialize in the documentation of active volcanoes and volcanic phenomena.
