The film’s creators show that partnerships between public and private institutions cause water prices to rise for consumers while the quality of the water provided sinks. Using examples from France and Germany—including Munich in particular—the economic effects of the privatization of water management are shown.
A discussion in German with Leslie Franke and Herdolor Lorenz, the film’s directors, will take place following the film.

The Green Visions film series is a cooperative project between the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society, ECOMOVE International, the Ökologisches Bildungszentrum, and the Münchner Volkshochschule.
