On July 30 and 31, a group of scholars - both of representatives of the European Society of Environmental History (ESEH) and guests - will meet to discuss future projects of the ESEH and collaborative projects with the Rachel Carson Center.
The meeting is organized by Christian Rohr of Salzburg University and Christof Mauch of the Rachel Carson Center. Among the special guests are Timo Myllyntaus, the host of the upcoming 2011 ESEH conference in Turku, and Grégory Quenet from the University of Versailles. Quenet outlined opportunities for future digital and online projects and discussed his summer school project with the workshop participants. The workshop will also serve as a regular Board meeting of the ESEH.
