What role does art play in the biggest challenge of our time? The documentary takes us to artists from across the world—including the Global South—who turn their feeling of helplessness in view of the climate crisis into creative resistance and activism. How do they cope with their own carbon footprint? How sustainable can the art world even be? A thrilling portrait of an art scene—framed by a scientific perspective—which balances expectation and reality. And an invitation to become part of the transformation.
A discussion with Mathias Frick (director) and Mara Appelhagen (executive producer) will follow the screening.
The original version of the film will be shown with German subtitles. The discussion will be held in German.
