Plastic is everywhere—not only in rivers and oceans. It infiltrates the air, the soil, and the human body. The crisis is worsening. But the petroleum industry is intent on increasing their production to make up for lost profits from the waning fossil-fuel industry. The award-winning documentary follows representatives of the plastic industry, environmental attorneys, scientists, and activists to explore previously overlooked aspects of the plastic crisis, such as environmental racism as well as the possibility of a circular economy.

A discussion with Alexandra Caterbow (NGO HEJSupport) will follow the screening.

The original version of the film will be shown with German subtitles. The discussion will be held in German.

Free and open to the public.
