Environmental Pasts and Futures

This three-day RCC event brings together scholars from around the world under the title “Beyond Dualism—Thinking Creatively Across Worlds.” It also features a Young Scholars Forum with tandem presentations on “Repressed Pasts, Crossed Borders, Just Futures: Environmental, Social, and Political Perspectives,” as well as several roundtables with a focus on the future of the environmental humanities.

This is the final public event of the project “Strengthening the Environmental Humanities,” which is led by Christof Mauch as principal investigator and funded by the Volkswagen Foundation through its “Hochschule der Zukunft / University of the Future” funding line.
