Interdisciplinary lecture series "Excess"

The lecture series, ''Excess,'' has been conceived by the cx centre for interdisciplinary studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. The RCC is cooperating on two lectures in the series. This week's lecture on ''Excess and Devaluation'' brings together three scholars and/or artists: Siliva Federici, Amy Franceschini, and Jason W. Moore. 

Silvia Federici (via skype) is Professor Emerita and Teaching Fellow at Hofstra University, New York with a focus on political philosophy and women studies. Amy Franceschini is an artist and designer with Futurefarmers and is based in Gent and San Francisco. Jason W. Moore is an envionmental historian, historical geographer, and Professor of Sociology at Binghamton University, New York.
