Senior science editor Maria Günther (Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter), sociologist of science Elisabeth Abergel (Université du Québec à Montréal), historian Andrea Geipel (Deutsches Museum Virtual Reality Lab), and documentary filmmaker Sara Penrhyn Jones (Rachel Carson Center) will give a plenary discussion on the topic of "Going beyond Relativism in Media: Environmental Crisis and Scientific Controversies in a Post-truth World."
This discussion is free and open to the public and part of the ENHANCE-ITN Final Event "(Um)Weltschmerz. An Exercise in Humility and Melancholia," which is convened by ENHANCE Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network and cosponsored by the Rachel Carson Center and the Deutsches Museum.
