Location: Rachel Carson Center, Leopoldstr. 11a, 4th Floor, Room 415 (conference room)

Director: Nicolas Humbert

In Wild Plants, director Nicolas Humbert uncovers a new city garden movement in America and Europe where gardeners look for unused areas of all kinds—such as strips of earth between roads—and transform them into biotopes and cultivation areas. In this film, Humbert follows the famous Zurich guerrilla gardener Maurice Maggi and the Jardins de Cocagne in Geneva, visits urban gardens in Detroit, and speaks with native American philospher Milo Yellow Hair.
