The Rachel Carson Center is sponsoring a panel at the conference of the German Anthropological Association (GAA), or, in German, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Völkerkunde (DGV). The panel aims to bring together research on two central themes in political ecology: the politics and violence of forest conservation and the neoliberalization of agriculture. The event is organized by Stefan Dorondel (RCC), Daniel Münster (Halle University), and Ursula Münster (RCC).
