Center for Culture, History, and Environment, Nelson Institute, University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA
The RCC has partnered with the Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA on several events and projects. Together with the KTH Environmental Humanities Lab, the RCC and CHE sponsored a three-part series on environmental futures and the Anthropocene. In addition, CHE and the RCC teamed up in 2016 and 2017 to offer two place-based workshops: one on the Mississippi River in the USA and one on the Danube River in Germany, Austria, and Slovakia. It gave some of our fellows and doctoral students the opportunity to engage with the exhibition format and have objects selected for inclusion in a “Cabinet of Curiosities.”
