UNESCO Award in Education for Sustainable Development

On Thursday, 15 June, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German UNESCO Commisson organized an event in the old city hall of Munich to honor the awardees of the 2023 UNESCO National Awards in outstanding Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
BenE Munich, in which the Rachel Carson Center is represented through its director of graduate programs, Dr. Gesa Lüdecke, and its director, Prof. Christof Mauch, organized a panel discussion titled “A Rounder Sense of Purpose—Bildung für eine gerechte und nachhaltige Zukunft” based on the concept A Rounder Sense of Purpose (RSP).
Dr. Gesa Lüdecke took part in the discussion with Prof. Dr. Marco Rieckmann (Vechta University) and Dr. Angela Firmhofer.
