The interdisciplinary teaching module “Introduction to Environment and Society,” which is part of the RCC’s master’s program Environment and Society, was awarded the 2023 LMU Teaching Innovation Prize. The award includes a prize money of 10,000 euros and was presented to RCC Director Christof Mauch, Director of Environmental Humanities Development Hanna Straß-Senol, and ProEnviron Doctoral Candidate Andreas Jünger at a ceremony on 14 July 2023, during LMU’s “Tag für gute Lehre.” The Teaching Innovation Prize is awarded yearly and recognizes educators who develop and implement particularly innovative courses or implemented teaching or examination concepts.
