Are Landhaus fellows the only fellows at the RCC? What happened to the old fellowship program?

The first twelve years of the RCC fellowship program were funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research, as the RCC was a Käte Hamburger Center for Advanced Study. Ministry funding concluded on 31 July 2021, and we are very excited to be able to offer the Landhaus fellowship program in conjunction with the Herrmannsdorfer Landwerkstätten.

The Landhaus fellows will be the primary group of fellows in residence at the RCC; we may have alumni fellows from time to time. We also host many visiting scholars (academics with their own funding) throughout the year. In addition, our community of externally-funded researchers is continuing to grow; in 2022, we will be hosting more than a dozen externally funded multi-year research projects on diverse topics.
